This bowl captures the rhythm and movement of tides meeting shore. Measuring 7.25” in diameter and just over 2.5” tall, its generous, softly curved form invites both function and contemplation.

Thrown from coarse Oregon brown clay, the exterior and interior are enveloped in a two-step glaze process that brings layered nuance to the surface. A base of soft sea-glass blue is activated by the addition of a second glaze that flows and breaks—revealing drifting hints of whitecaps and deeper indigo swells beneath. The glaze gathers lightly at the rim and pools in the center, evoking the shimmer and variation of sunlight on water.

The raw clay foot remains unglazed, grounding the piece with earthy contrast and warmth. Oceanic yet refined, this bowl carries the feeling of wind over water—calm, shifting, alive.
